Andrew Tiajoloff has been practicing patent law before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for more than thirty years in a wide range of technologies, including many mechanical devices, computer-based systems of many types, electronic devices, optics-based inventions, glass manufacturing technologies, biotechnology, and many other arts.

Mr. Tiajoloff has also litigated a number of commercial and intellectual property matters in the United States District Courts, as well as in appeals before the Federal Circuit and the Second Circuit Courts of Appeals.

His litigation activities have also extended to successfully defending patents in inter partes proceedings before the Patent Trademark and Appeal Board of the United States Patent & Trademark Office.

He also has advised companies in the acquisition of intellectual property assets, including due diligence investigations relating to the purchase and/or sale of companies or their assets, as well as advising companies on cost-efficient methods for avoiding infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.

Mr. Tiajoloff is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a focus on applied mathematics and mechanics, and he has also taken biochemistry courses at the University of Illinois. 

Mr. Tiajoloff received his Juris Doctorate degree from DePaul University College of Law. He is admitted to the practice of law in New York and Illinois, and is a registered U.S. patent attorney at the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
